At the appearance level, both new products are equipped with a larger interface, Gear S3 Frontier uses an outdoor style design, and Gear S3 Classic takes a more refined business style.
The two new Gear S3 models come with a 1.3-inch color display, GPS positioning sensor, built-in speaker, 4GB of memory, and wireless charging. They can be used for a single charge for up to 4 days, and are waterproof and dustproof. At the same time, users can use the mobile payment function in countries and regions that provide Samsung Pay services.
The Gear S3 Frontier is unique in that it is equipped with a cellular radio chip that can connect to a 4G mobile network , enabling the watch to call, send text messages, use Spotify, Uber, and other applications without relying on the user's smart phone. According to media reports, Apple will launch smart watches equipped with cellular wireless chips in the future.
