Liquid crystal display board export volume increase and decrease

According to the Shanghai Customs revealed yesterday, in the first three quarters of this year, the export of LCD panels in the Shanghai Customs District was 130 million, an increase of 48.6% over the same period of last year; the value was US$5.43 billion, an increase of 7%, and the average export price was US$40.9 each, down 28 %.

In September, the export of liquid crystal display panels in Shanghai Customs exceeded 20 million for the first time, reaching 20.45 million. At the same time, since March, the average price of liquid crystal display panels has started to decline from an upward trend, and the single-month decline has been more than two digits. Among them, the average export price in September was only 39.6 US dollars each, has been maintained at a low of less than 40 US dollars for four consecutive months. There are two major reasons for the sharp drop in prices: First, the rapid expansion of domestic production capacity, shrinking international demand led to increased competition and falling prices; second, price cuts by foreign brands suppressed the price of panel prices to rise.
