Brazilian lighting market inspection meeting held in Jiangmen

Recently, "GMC's visit to the lighting market in the emerging markets Brazil market field visit sharing meeting" was held in the Economic and Trade Bureau of Jiangmen City. Twenty-one Jiangmen companies including Guangmingyuan Lighting Appliance Co., Ltd. and Tianlong Junwei Lighting Co., Ltd. attended the sharing session. According to Global Markets International e-commerce platform monitoring, from January to November this year, the number of inquiries from Brazilian buyers increased nearly five times year-on-year, of which the lighting industry's enquiries increased by 91.6% year-on-year, showing strong demand in Brazil.

According to reports, as the country with the most comprehensive national strength in South America, Brazil’s relationship with “Made in China” is becoming increasingly close. In the first quarter of this year, China has surpassed the United States as Brazil’s largest supplier of manufactured goods. Next, Brazil has successively hosted the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games, and has great demand for hardware and building materials and LED lighting equipment. However, at present, Chinese companies are not optimistic about the development of the Brazilian market. According to the data released by China Customs, as of November, China's total exports to Brazil this year increased by only 2.7% year-on-year.
