Dragons die: The Bulldozer Phenom II X8 CPU

Although AMD did not announce its attitude towards the Athlon/Phenom brand after the bulldozer architecture FX was released, the CPU support list of some motherboards by the elite and Jetway recently may indicate some problems: the Phenom II X8 has appeared in the update. Series CPU.

The following new Phenon II X8 processors appear in the CPU update list in A890GXM-A2 (V2.0) on the Elite website:

—ZD282046W6K43, AMD Phenom II X6 2820, frequency 2.80GHz, TDP 95W

These new CPUs are also available on Jetway's updated list in the HA18 mainboard. They also include some six-core or four-core processors, although specific models are shown in the Engineering Sample.

From the code point, Z may represent the Zambezi core bulldozer architecture, D stands for Desktop, after which the four digits are the specific code, W represents the AM3+, the latter digit is the core quantity, K is the buffer capacity, and the last two digits are the production date (week).

The current elite has already withdrawn the relevant content updates, and Jetway still exists. It seems that AMD is not going to abandon Phenom, a brand that has been used for years.
