When it is determined that the main bearing is indeed loud, the oil pan and the loud main bearing lower cover can be removed. If it is found that the bearing bush has burned, it must be replaced; when the journal is also damaged or other damage, the crankshaft should be removed for repair or replacement.
2. The connecting rod bearing failure causes the unit to operate abnormally
Maintenance personnel can use the single-cylinder oil shut-off method to determine which cylinder rod bearing knocks. The method: after starting the diesel generator set, open the cover of the fuel injection pump and pick up the parts of the roller body in motion with the screwdriver, as shown in Fig. 10-23, to judge the noise changes of the cylinder connecting rod bearings. If the supply of oil is disconnected from a certain cylinder, the sound will diminish or disappear. After resuming the supply of oil, a sudden sound will be heard. If the sound of "" sounds, then the connecting rod bearing of the cylinder is faulty. Which cylinder can be determined by the above method? After the failure, stop the operation of the unit, remove the cover of the body inspection hole, remove the lower cover of the connecting rod with a torque wrench, and inspect. If the bearing alloy wears seriously, falls off or burns out, replace the bearing bush if there is slight damage to the surface of the journal. In case of galling or corrosion phenomena, repairs can be carried out with stumbling.
3. The method of eliminating the normal squeaking of the unit operation caused by the failure of the piston pin
During the inspection, the method of cylinder-by-cylinder oil shutoff was used. When a cylinder was cut off, the knocking sound weakened or disappeared. At the moment of recovery work, a “bang and bang†knock was issued, which indicated that the cylinder was piston pin. With the gap is too large. If you hear abnormal knocking sound of the piston pin, you can also remove the inspection hole cover on the machine body, toggle the crankshaft flywheel ring gear, make the cylinder of the inspection cylinder crank to the bottom dead center position, and then hold the hand The middle part of the cylinder rod swings the rod back and forth, as shown in Figure 10-24. If there is a large gap, the cylinder head and piston rod assembly should be removed to further check the clearance between the piston pin and the connecting rod small head bushing. If the clearance exceeds the specified value, the connecting rod small bushing should be replaced according to the technical requirements.
