Qualcomm's revenue share in China's mainland market was about 29% last year

It has surpassed 27% of the Korean market's revenue, and has become the largest market in Qualcomm's revenue.

According to statistics, Qualcomm’s revenue for 2010 was US$10.99 billion, which was 6% higher than the same period of the previous year. The revenue of the mainland market has always been of concern to the outside world. With the rapid development of the 3G market, the mainland market has continued to increase its revenue share in Qualcomm and has thus far become the largest market for Qualcomm's revenue.

Paul Jacobs stated that the reasons for the rapid increase in the performance of Qualcomm are as follows, including the transition from 2G to 3G; the rapid development of emerging markets; the rapid adoption of smart phones; the introduction of new products to bring new business opportunities; the rapid development of emerging technologies, etc. .

For the mainland market with emerging market indicators, the total number of 3G users in 2010 exceeded 45 million, with an annual growth rate of 280.8%. In addition, three telecom operators have vigorously promoted the RMB 1,000 yuan of 3G mobile phones, and also enabled operators to increase the scale of procurement of terminal products, and have played a significant role in expanding market share.
