Nubia released two different Z11 mini and Z11 Max machines before the official flagship Z11 debuted this year, facing consumers with different positioning. As a continuation of the Max series, the Z11 Max screen will be increased to 6 inches this time. Can it bring a better experience?
Before appearance, we have done a detailed map reward - C Luo endorsement, Nubian Z11 Max map reward . The accessories didn't shrink as much as the average 5V/2A conventional charger, but the machine itself has a large screen, but Nubia has a good control over its width. Thanks to the proper smooth transition of the 2.5D glass and the frame, the overall grip feels better and the workmanship is relatively elaborate.
The Z11 Max is up to 6 inches from the previous generation screens, using a Super AMOLED screen provided by Samsung with a resolution of 1920x1080. The overall look and feel is good, of course, this resolution with a large screen, look carefully when the pixel is more obvious.
During the actual test, the quality of this screen was somewhat unexpected. The default color temperature was 7800K, and the color gamut was easily over 100% due to the characteristics of AMOLED, reaching 139.3% of sRGB. But the average DeltaE is 11.1, the highest DeltaE is 19.9, and the maximum brightness is only 240 nits. We don't know if the machine in our hands is just an example.
The main hardware configuration of Z11 Max is Xiaolong 652+4G RAM+64G ROM. The system is based on Android 5.1.1 nubia UI 3.9.9.
In the test of CPU, we can see that Z11 Max is not as unrestrained as Max, which is also carrying Xiaolong 652. Nubia is more restrained and has some reservations in performance. However, compared with the previous generation of good reputation éª Long 808, you can find the basic performance of the machine equipped with 652 is better than 808, a new generation of high-end processor performance is satisfactory. During the testing process, Z11 Max had an interesting phenomenon when running GeekBench: the performance of one test was lower than that of one test in multiple tests, and the single-core score was even less than 1000 points in the trough. It was not known whether it was related to the system.
In the GPU test, the Xiaolong 808 was compared with the 652. In all projects, it was still the first, but the gap was not significant. The GFXBench equipped with a 652 machine was the same as the 808 score, which fully proved the strength of the Xiaolong 652. More comparison items can be found in our running branch library.
In actual use, the Z11 Max operation is smooth and the system response is also faster, but Nubia's control over the Xiaolong 652 is very conservative. For example, when running a large-scale game such as NBA 2K15, it is basically a large core with four small cores, and the time for two big cores to fully open is very short. This is inconsistent with Xiaomi Max and the eight cores are fully open. The opposite of regulation.
The system nubia UI has gone to 3.9.9, breaking the 4.0 mark, and the functions are relatively complete. The left side of the main screen default settings to start the camera's various shortcuts to facilitate the user to record good bit by bit; unique edge gestures are good, but feel more useful in the use of gimmicks, plus a large Z11 Max screen but affect the Convenience.
As a cell phone capable of making stars, Nubia has invested a lot in cameras. Z11 Max uses the latest Sony IMX298 CMOS, with 6-piece lenses, and the aperture reaches F2.0. The system specifically sets many functions for shooting. People look forward to their photo performance.
Day performance
(HDR not turned on)
(Open HDR)
In the same scene, the HDR is not turned on and after the opening, the white balance of the proofs is more accurate, especially the transition of the blue sky behind the building is more natural, and it is closer to the human eye.
After zooming in at 100%, you can see that HDR hasn't improved in detail. The difference still lies in white balance. Only Z11 Max takes HDR and takes a longer time to take pictures, which is worse than the photo experience when it is not turned on.
Compared with Z5P, Z11 Max is more accurate for the color reproduction of the blue sky, but the building and plant parts are not as good as the Z5P. The details are not far apart. The Z11 Max is slightly better than the picture purity, but both are There is a gap between models such as Note 5 in the first-tier shooting team.
In another set of complex scenes with multiple colors, the Z11 Max white balance is less accurate, the Z5P's color reproduction is closer to the actual situation, and the Z11 Max's color saturation is higher, with green being the most overfull.
In these two sets of proofs, the Z5P restored the yellow-green color of the green plants under the sun illumination. However, the green part of the Z11 Max samples can only be restored in the vicinity of the focus center, but the proofs are in the AMOLED of the Z11 Max. There is a bonus effect when viewed on the screen.
Night effect
Nubia claims to be the master of the night shoot, after all, is able to shoot the stars of the mobile phone brand, but Z11 Max this night shot effect is a bit disappointing. This is a typical picture of the Z11 Max night shoot. Nubia will try to increase the brightness at night, but it will not achieve the effect of the Samsung S7 night vision device. The noise is relatively more; the lens is not strong against glare and comes across neon lights. Or the LED may have a larger ghost.
Compared to the same scene, the Z5P restores the real situation of the light at that time, and the detail and white balance are better than Z11 Max. The Z11 Max is even better able to clearly show the signboard of the “Fu Kang Tang Health Pavilionâ€. It seems that Z11 Max also wants to go in the direction of “night vision gogglesâ€.
In the case of the other group under the streetlight, the Z11 Max directly ignored the yellow streetlight and the entire picture was pale. In terms of details, Z11 Max has increased its brightness, and the intensity of Z5P's smearing at night has not diminished. Both have more noise and are at the same level.
Evening stone boat proofs in the evening, the Z11 Max was better than the Z5P in the details. However, the white balance is still bad. The whole picture still ignores the yellow lights and is pale.
Z11 Max with 4000mAh battery After 30 minutes of large-scale game (NBA 2K15), 30 minutes of wifi and 4G internet access, 1 hour of music playback and 30 minutes of local video playback, after a full 3 hours of battery life test, the remaining power is 80%. It is next to red rice 3 and millet Max in the table, and is the same as the 8890 S7 edge.
Even if there are AMOLED screens to help save power, such achievements are completely proud of the general models. Daily heavy use can last for two days and light use for 3-4 days. If it is a spare entertainment machine, it may still last for one week. Thanks to Nubian's conservative control, this Xiaolong 652 has basically no situation with two big cores, let alone four big cores, so even if it is abused with a roast app, the entire machine is just a fever. Only.
The positioning of Nubian Z11 Max this time coincides with the consumer group of Xiaomi Max: users who need large-screen entertainment and long battery life, but Nubia is aiming for a smaller range - but also a bit of quality pursuit. Compared with millet Max's better workmanship and details, the hardware quality is not bad camera, standard fast charge chargers are indicating that Nubia is not cost-effective supreme, but the screen quality and the actual camera effect is a bit unsatisfactory, whether it is worth buying The consumer's psychological requirements. As far as the title is concerned, I think that it is still worthwhile to point to life.
